7 Easy Ways to Add Flowers to Your Home

Nothing brightens up a room – or your day – quite like fresh flowers. Their natural beauty and essence compliment every space. We’re sure one of these easy arrangements will inspire you, whether you’re looking to invigorate your office or liven up your living room.

1. Be Beautifully Buoyant

Float flowers in a bowl of water. In its simplest form, you can create this look with a single floating flower. To add interest, float a couple of different sizes and varieties – or add slices of citrus! This simple idea brightens up any space – from your office desk to your coffee table.

2. Go For Bold ‘Lips…as in Tulips

Tulips come in a variety of colours, so they fit in with any colour scheme. Go for a bold pop of colour, or mix them up to soften their look. Tulips look great on their own, which makes them a super quick fix that brighten up any day.

3. Have a Cuppa Joy

Turn your cuppa joe into a cuppa joy. Use a mug as a vase for an interesting twist! Mugs make great vases for flowers from your own garden, especially if they have smaller stems.

4. Get Rosey

Add depth to a traditional bouquet of roses with a contrasting colour or two. These white roses stand out beautifully with the addition of heavenly fresia in purple and blue. If you’ve opted for a red rose, try baby’s breath for a similar effect.

5. When Life Gives You Lemons

Use citrus to add contrast to a single flower. With a fuller flower, like a hydrangea, a little goes a long way. Place lemons and limes in the vases to intensify the colour, then pop in a few stems of a full flower and greens. You will achieve an arrangement that is fresh and energizing.

7. Vase Full of Sunshine

Sunflowers are super versatile thanks to their thick stems. You can let them stand tall or cut them short, depending on the vase you want to use. The bright pop of yellow is sure to put a smile on your face.
